Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026.
This policy explains how BNX Networks Inc. handles information when you use the AiTaC website, Windows desktop app, and AiTaC AI Tracking browser extension, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
Website accounts and requests. We receive information you provide when creating an account, contacting us, requesting a quote, or managing an order or license. This may include your username, email address, profile information, organization name, requested PC count, and order details. Downloads that ask for an email address record that address and the selected installer or extension release.
AI conversations. On supported ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and Perplexity pages, the extension captures newly submitted prompts and AI replies. Replies may be incomplete if you close a page before they finish. Captured information includes conversation text, page addresses, conversation identifiers, timestamps, browser details, a randomly generated browser-profile identifier, and extension connection information. Existing conversation history is not imported.
Conversation text may contain personal or sensitive information you enter or receive, such as identifying, health, financial, login, or location details. AiTaC does not automatically remove these details from captured conversations. Consider what you share before using a monitored AI chat.
Attachments. For supported file or pasted-image interactions, the extension may read the attachment locally to generate a file fingerprint and record its name, type, size, and attachment method. File contents are not sent to AiTaC as attachment events. Attachment details can be held temporarily in the browser's waiting queue; the current desktop conversation log does not save attachment events.
Device and activity information. The desktop app provides device details to our licensing service, including the PC name, device and network-adapter identifiers, operating system, and app version. License records also include activation information and request IP addresses. For the license owner's live tracking view, the app uploads summaries of AI and automation processes and AI connections, including process names and identifiers, service categories, domains, IP addresses, and activity times.
How we use information
We use website and device information to manage accounts, validate licenses, provide requested services, handle orders, respond to support requests, and send account or service-related messages.
Captured prompts and replies are used for local conversation logging and review in the desktop app. Activity summaries support the license owner's website live tracking view. The extension requires the Windows app and a license that permits AI tracking; viewing saved logs also requires log permission.
We do not sell extension data, use it for advertising or creditworthiness or lending decisions, or transfer it for purposes unrelated to its AI tracking and local logging features. Our use of extension user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Sharing and third-party services
The extension delivers captured events to the desktop app on the same PC. Saved conversation records are stored on your PC. The extension does not send prompts, replies, or attachment events directly to our website or an analytics service. The desktop app's licensing requests and live activity uploads do not include saved conversation text or attachment content or details.
If your license is managed by an organization, its license owner can view uploaded activity summaries and manage feature permissions. This website view does not include your saved conversation text.
The AI websites you use receive the information you submit under their own privacy policies. To identify an AI service, the desktop app may also make internet address lookups and send a remote connection's IP address to ipinfo.io. These lookups do not include conversation text.
Local diagnostic logs record errors and are not automatically uploaded by the diagnostic feature. Activation-related details may be sent in separate support messages when activation fails. Information you choose to send to support is handled to assist with your request.
Data security
Waiting extension events are encrypted within your browser profile. Saved desktop conversation records are encrypted using protection tied to your Windows user account. These protections help limit access, but access to your browser profile may also expose its waiting data. Protect your computer, browser profile, and account credentials.
How long we keep information
The browser keeps a limited waiting queue when the desktop app is unavailable. Delivered events are removed, and events older than 24 hours are removed when the queue is next used. Older events may be removed sooner to stay within its storage limit. Extended outages or storage failures may result in lost events.
Saved desktop conversation records older than 90 days are removed when the app next saves conversation data. Older records may also be removed to stay within the local storage limit. Regular monitoring logs have separate cleanup rules for records older than 14 days. These cleanup rules operate when the relevant app functions run; they do not guarantee deletion while the app is closed.
Live activity is kept as the latest device snapshot, rather than a saved conversation history. Website account, order, license, download, and support records have separate retention arrangements and are not covered by the local conversation limits. Contact us to ask about those records or request deletion.
Your choices and deletion
You can start or pause desktop recording. Messages delivered while recording is paused or otherwise disabled are discarded and are not replayed later. The extension can still observe and temporarily queue events while the app is paused or unavailable. Disable or remove the extension to stop its capture entirely.
Removing the extension from a browser profile clears its waiting queue and profile identifier. To remove saved desktop conversations, close AiTaC and remove its local conversation log files, including associated temporary files, from the app's log folder. Other monitoring and diagnostic logs can be deleted separately. Contact support if you need help locating or clearing these files.
Removing the extension does not delete desktop logs, and deleting desktop logs does not clear a browser queue. Disable or remove the extension first if you do not want waiting events delivered again.
Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of website information. These requests are separate from deleting records on your PC.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services or data practices. The date above identifies the latest revision. Review this page when updating or using AiTaC.
